Main Street Studio is located in downtown Boise between Capitol Blvd and 6th St, on Main Street. Our entrance can be found directly to the left of the Amsterdam Lounge’s outdoor patio. We are located on the 2nd floor of the building so once you open the door, immediately follow the stairs up. At the top of the stairs you will see our office space labeled as Honey Badger Creative. Follow through that specific doorway and you will see a Main Street Studio sign to the right, as you walk in.

There is no elevator access so please load equipment responsibly and plan accordingly using the stairs at the main entrance.
Cancellations will be accepted up to 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment and will be subject to a $10 cancellation fee subtracted from the final refund amount. Cancellation requests within 24 hours of scheduled appointment will need to call (208) 243-8891 and will be subject to a $25 cancellation fee subtracted from the final refund amount.
Rescheduling will be allowed up to 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment without penalty or fee. A reschedule request within 24 hours of a scheduled appointment will be allowed one time without penalty or fee, the next reschedule will be considered a last minute cancellation and will be subject to a $25 cancellation fee subtracted from the final refund amount.
No-Show appointments will be non-refundable.
Each reservation will be provided one strobe (w/softbox) and two bi-color LED panels. All bookings will have access to the main studio room (cyclorama wall, backdrop, green screen, exposed brick). There will also access to the dressing/makeup room.
To add more lighting please choose from our add-ons while scheduling. Please rent equipment at your own knowledge/skill level, there will be minimal assistance.
All appointments created using our booking tool are assumed to be for our Main Street Studio location, 609 W Main Street, Boise, Idaho. If you are interested in shooting at one of our other locations, scheduling is limited so we ask that you email us at [email protected].
The audio/podcast room is also available as a separate reservation option using our booking tool.
Night and weekends are open per request if scheduled in advance. Please email us at [email protected]. Scheduling may be limited. Weekends may require a higher hourly rate.
-Damage and Liability
The person whose name is on the reservation (The Renter) will be responsible for any damage to Main Street Studio property or equipment that occurs during the time they or their party occupies the premises. The Renter agrees to pay reasonable costs to bring damaged equipment back to working condition or replace any equipment or property that is deemed unrepairable. The Renter agrees to pay for damage to the Premises including, excessive wear, marks or stains on furniture, backdrops, fixtures or painted surfaces.
-Cleaning
The Renter is responsible for picking up any garbage, decorations, or mess that they have created in and around the Premises. Please pick up after yourself and be responsible for your surroundings.
We have a variety of lighting options available to add to your reservation during the booking process. If you have questions about equipment feel free to reach out to us and we will be happy to assist.
You are welcome to bring any equipment or props that you feel are necessary for you session. Please note that we are located in Downtown Boise so parking may be limited. We are also located on the second floor of a historic building that does not have elevator access. Please acknowledge that all equipment will have to be carried up using stair access. Please plan responsibly.

Need to schedule a reservation to use the studio? Click “Book Now!” to get started. Main Street Studio hourly sessions start at $50/hr for the first hour and $25/hr for each additional hour up to 4 hours. This rate provides exclusive access to the main studio area as-well as a private dressing/make up room. Each booking includes two bi-color LED panel lights and one strobe/flash light with remote and soft-box. RGB panel lights and other equipment may be available to add to your session. Look for add-ons while booking.
